One succesful class

This class was a success. The students had fun, they were interested and I could see them really learning something.


PERFORMANCE: Ss know some basic vocabulary about love as homage to love and friendship on Valentine’s day.
ROUTINE: T writes the date on the board and Ss get organized in cooperative groups.
WARMING UP: T plays hangman with words related to Valentine’s day. Each group is a team.
L.O.V.E-LISTENING AND PERFORMING: T posts on the board the song L.O.V.E and Ss write it down on their notebooks leaving the blanks as they are in the poster. They listen to the song three-four times and complete the blanks. T goes group by group and evaluates which group has filled the blanks correctly. The poster is filled up by one person of the group that has the correct answers. Ss have ten minutes to create choreography per group that shows comprehension of the lyrics. They perform in front o classmates.
HOMEWORK: Write a short composition of five affirmative sentences about love.  

ONGOING AND FORMAL EVALUATION
WHAT: Ss know some basic vocabulary about love as homage to love and friendship on Valentine´s day.
HOW: Through the hangman game, the choreography and the Homework.
WHO: T and Ss.
